Includes the ability to brake away from an inappropriate frame (meditation) and the ability to make new frame (contemplation).

Stepping back and looking through.
Look deeply into things.
Frame awareness that can be appropriated in order to improve your capacities for inside and self regulation.

Three practices

  1. Meditative practice
    • Vipassana meditation: Focus on my sensation. Step back and look at your sensations (at your distractions).
  2. Contemplative practice
    • Stoic: -
    • Metta: Trying to awaking to the fact that you are constantly assuming an identity and assigning an identity.
  3. Moving practice (conductive to the flow state):
    • Rock climbing
